Setting up your UpperLevel Email on an iPhone

How to set up your email account

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account, then select 'Other'.
  3. Enter your name, email address, password, and a description for your account. 
  4. Tap Next. Mail will try to find the email settings and finish your account setup. If Mail finds your email settings, tap Done to complete your account setup.

Enter account settings manually

If Mail can't find your email settings, then you need to enter them manually. Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. We suggest IMAP but you can choose IMAP or POP for your new account.
  2. Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the Name field.
  3. Enter you full email address in the Email field: [email protected]
  4. You may enter whatever you like for the Description.
  5. If any fields say they are optional they are NOT optional. Please fill them out as follows.
  6. For the Incoming Mail Server > Host Name enter: mail.example.com - replacing EXAMPLE for your website URL/ domain name.
  7. For the User Name enter your full UpperLevel email address: [email protected]
  8. Enter your password.
  9. If any fields say they are optional they are NOT optional. Please fill them out as follows.
  10. For the Outgoing Mail Server > Host Name enter: mail.example.com - replacing EXAMPLE for your website URL/ domain name.
  11. Enter your password.
  12. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to edit them.
  13. Go the home screen and open the mail app.
